ERICA RAFF, M.S.W.
Erica Raff, is a Masters level Social Worker and a Rostered Psychotherapist. Erica graduated the Masters of Social Work Program at UVM in 2017 and has a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Dance. She has interned at the UVM Women’s Sexual Health and Research Clinic, with COTS in the Housing Resource Center, as well as with their Case Management Triage
She has experience with energy work including a level 2 certification in Healing Touch and a level 1 certification in Energy Medicine. Erica has been certified as a Yoga Teacher through a Yoga Alliance Certified program.
Erica has a social constructionist orientation to her work as well being focused on the mind-body connection. She believes in working with a person or family in a collaborative learning style that helps elicit and address areas of interest that the individuals themselves identify as contributing factors. Erica puts an emphasis on efforts towards identifying many factors that could contribute to ones life, understanding person-in-environment, intersectionality, as well as the social constructions that make up each individuals reality. She also uses elements of the Strength Perspective and Solution-focused therapy to enable, access, and value each individual’s own unique supports and resources within their own lives. Ericas space is LGBTQIA+ sensitive and friendly.
