Mindfulness Based Eating AwarenessTraining (MB-EAT), taught by Laura Biron, helps transforms our relationship with food.  It is a powerful non-diet approach that cultivates inner wisdom and self compassion to guide our eating behaviors.

The information, practice, and group support will help you to make sustainable lifestyle changes that can result in:

• Experiencing the full pleasure and taste of food without quilt or overeating.
• Eating in a new way that is attuned to your body’s needs.
• Enhanced body trust and appreciation.
• Healthy weight you can maintain.

Mindfulness eating exercises develop an awareness of hunger, fullness, and use all of our senses to nurture one’s experience of eating in a way that is in sync with our physical needs.

Simple mindfulness meditation cultivates attention to our thoughts, feelings, and body sensations in a non judgmental and accepting manner.

Mindfulness movement awakens the body and mind connection so we can compassionately tune into what is true for our bodies.
