Kate Dearth is a Rostered Psychotherapist with a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Vermont in 2017.  She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Clark University in 2010.  Kate has held Apprentice Addictions Professional certification since 2012, and is on track towards attaining clinical social work licensure.

Kate believes that supporting individual and community wellbeing requires our ability to build compassionate, connected relationships: both with ourselves and with others. Ultimately, through relationships that are built on genuine trust, authenticity, compassion, and even a little humor, Kate strives to help others (re)connect with their strengths to make the transformative changes they seek for their lives.

Kate is rooted in lenses of human rights, social justice, systems theory, as well as trauma and attachment frameworks, and utilizes strengths-based, solutions-focused, anti-oppressive, intersectional, and inclusive practices.
