Jackie Berkowitz is a Masters level rostered clinician with a strength-based approach in counseling, believing that everyone has an innate ability to heal from within. Through encouragement, challenge, and empowerment of the mind-body-spirit, she strives to help individuals connect with their own source of healing.
She works with adolescents, emerging adults, adults, and couples. Her therapeutic areas of focus include anxiety, depression, relationship issues, identity development, and eating disorders. She has a person-centered approach when working with individuals, while also utilizing Internal Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Heart Based Therapeutics. She hopes to engage in a genuine relationship based on trust and openness, while upholding a space where individual needs may be met.
Jackie has received a Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The University of Vermont, and believes that a holistic approach to mental health is key for overall and sustained wellbeing.
