Lizzy Slatt, M.S.W., L.C.S.W.
Lizzy Slatt is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with a specialization in trauma. She received her BA in Psychology from Macalester College in 1998 as well as her MSW from Colorado State University in 2005.
She has extensive experience working with survivors of sexual abuse and assault, relational abuse and their loved ones in addition to years incorporating healing within experiential and nature-based settings. Her focus includes helping adolescents and adults address symptoms of trauma, including anxiety and depression, attachment and adjustment issues, relationship problems, stress and self-esteem.
Lizzy is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Level I and Level II. She strives to integrate elements of mindfulness, strength-based and solution-focused approaches, systems theory, and social justice frameworks, with dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and nature based experiential treatments.
