Dr. Bethany Bilott Lieberman, Psy.D.

lieberman.jpgDr. Bethany Bilott Lieberman is a licensed clinical psychologist. She received her doctorate degree in clinical psychology in 1990 from Wright State University School of Professional Psychology in Dayton, Ohio and became licensed as a clinical psychologist in the state of Ohio in 1992.

In Ohio, she worked extensively with children, adolescents and their families in her own practice and then later as the only psychologist in a psychiatry practice. She also worked at a partial hospitalization program for women with eating disorders.

Her family later moved to West Bloomfield, Michigan where she obtained her license and worked again in a private practice seeing all ages and doing individual, couples, family, and group therapy. She most recently moved to South Burlington, Vermont and worked at Fletcher Allen Health Care doing consultations as needed for inpatient children, adolescents, adults, and their families and seeing outpatient clients for therapy and assessment. She was also working in Pediatric Medicine in South Burlington seeing clients there as referred by the pediatricians in the practice group.

Dr. Lieberman considers herself an eclectic generalist with over 20 years of experience in treating a variety of presenting concerns including adjustment issues, attention difficulties (ADD and ADHD), underachievement, parenting concerns , stress, anxiety, depression, relationship problems, self-esteem issues OCD, and eating disorders with primarily cognitive-behavioral and problem-solving techniques.
