Cindyellen Robinson had been practicing psychotherapy for ten years before joining our Staff in June, 2006. She holds dual licensure, as both an Alcohol and Drug Counselor, and a Clinical Mental Health Counselor. Cindyellen holds a B.A. in German Language and Literature from Wesleyan University.
She also holds two Masters' Degrees: a Master of Divinity in Pastoral Counseling from Chicago Theological Seminary, and a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Antioch New England Graduate School. Ms. Robinson also did a five year training program at the Vermont Center for Psychosynthesis.
Cindyellen's specialties are the treatment of addictive disorders, eating disorders, spiritual direction, and marriage and family therapy. She also has experience working with those involved in alternative lifestyles.
Having worked as a pastor, Cindyellen views the therapeutic process as a spiritual discipline as well as a psychological process. She finds it essential to include the physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual elements for true healing to happen. She regards herself as a guide in the process rather than as an authority giving advice. She truly enjoys being part of people’s evolution towards wholeness.
